LESSON ONE: FOLK/POP FINGERPICKING - There's fingerpicking guitar in the music of the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, James Taylor and many other pop groups. Backup and soloing techniques are taught with their application to rock and pop rhythms. Tunes featured include: Red River Valley, Aura Lee and more.

LESSON TWO: RAGTIME, RAGGY BLUES & JAZZ - This lesson deals with classic rags, raggy blues and jazz tunes in fingerpicking styles. Also included is instruction in fancy chord progressions and turnarounds. Tunes featured include: Stealin', Cocaine, Oh Babe, Ain't No Lie, Bill Bailey, Maple Leaf Rag, The Entertainer and Bully of the Town.

LESSON THREE: FINGERPICKING UP THE NECK - Concentrating on Merle Travis and rockabilly, moveable chord positions are taught. These techniques can be applied to all types of music including jazz, rock and bluegrass. Tunes featured include: Nine Pound Hammer, Wabash Cannonball, Can the Circle Be Unbroken, Bury Me Beneath The Willow and more.
